Courtney Sgambelluri is a certified Posture Analysis Specialist.  She is trained in the Egoscue method, which she learned directly from the founder, Pete Egoscue, while working at his clinic in San Diego.  The Egoscue method is based on the idea that as society becomes more and more sedentary, the body begins to develop musculoskeletal dysfunctions and compensations.  Posture therapy not only helps you breathe and sing better, but can eliminate chronic pain.  Courtney currently offers posture therapy in the Boston area and via Skype.   Courtney will lead us through a series of simple physical exercises designed to return balance and symmetry to the body.   Find out more about Courtney at her website.

Celia Slattery has over thirty years of experience as a singer and teacher of Voice and Performing Arts.  Originally trained in theater, she studied Voice and Jazz at New England Conservatory, and has entertained audiences from Boston to Bangkok.  She has been an adjunct faculty member at Lesley University and Salem State Universities, and currently teaches singers of all contemporary music styles at her studio in Davis Square, Somerville, and via Skype.  Celia is certified in Somatic Voicework ™ the Lovetri Method (SVW), a functional voice technique for contemporary styles.   Celia will lead us in a group vocal warm-up and coach individual singers using SVW and other modalities in her toolkit.  Find out more about Celia at her website.
